LUGPA Goes Virtual

Originally posted June, 2020

We’ve been hopeful. We’ve been social distancing. We’ve worn masks.  This virus seems to have other ideas about our plans and preparations.

After months of conversations and preparations for LUGPA’s regional and annual meetings, we’ve made the decision to transition our events to a virtual platform. While it won’t be the same as being together in person, we’re excited to bring you valuable and stimulating content for all of our new virtual meetings.

Beginning June 24th, practice administrators will have the opportunity to participate in our new Stay Connected Web Series: Business as UnUsual. Featuring engaging and relevant content, this five part series will premiere on Wednesday June 24th at noon CT.  Future dates include July 15, August 12, September 9 and October 7, 2020.  For more information and to register, visit lugpa.org/stay-connected-series

Other new virtual sessions are also being planned for both urologists and administrators, so you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other LUGPA members and stay on top of issues critical for helping you strategically reboot your practice.

More information about the programming and events planned for the regional and annual meetings will be announced shortly.  Because the 2020 meetings will be virtual, there will be no limit to the number of people from your group who can attend the meetings and registration will be free.

If you had previously registered for the regional meeting in Boston, or signed up as an exhibitor for the job fair, we will send you a separate communication about the plans for those events.

Thank you for your continued membership in LUGPA. We’ll find a way forward together.
