LUGPA works with state urology societies, members, and policymakers to monitor and address state legislation and regulatory proposals that affect independent urology practices and patient care.

From scope of practice and prior authorization to insurance regulation, site-of-care policies, and other issues affecting physician-led practices, LUGPA helps ensure the voice of independent urology is represented in state policy discussions.

LUGPA submits detailed comments to CMS and other federal agencies on proposed regulations affecting reimbursement, coverage, and the delivery of care.
