About the speakers:

Jason L. Biddy, MBA, CMPE
Chief Executive Officer, Urology Centers of Alabama, P.C.

     

Jason began working in healthcare in 1997 and joined Urology Centers of Alabama in 2016. Before joining UCA, Jason worked with several other groups in the Birmingham area including Alabama Allergy and Asthma Center, MedHelp Family Practice and Urgent Care, and Orthopaedic Specialists of Alabama. He attended Birmingham Southern College graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biology/Psychology. He went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from the Executive MBA program at the University of Alabama. Jason continues to work with Auburn, Birmingham Southern, Samford, and UAB to mentor college students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Jason is actively involved in the local and state Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and is currently serving as Executive Director for Birmingham MGMA and President for Alabama MGMA. In 2018, he earned the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation from the American College of Medical Practice Executives and in 2019 was named one of Birmingham’s Top 40 under 40 by the Birmingham Business Journal.

 

     

Marcie Prescott
Director of Marketing, Urology Centers of Alabama, P.C.

Marcie Prescott joined Urology Centers of Alabama (UCA) in December of 2016 as the Director of Marketing. She has over 15 years of experience in the marketing and advertising field having worked for several agencies across Birmingham. Before joining UCA, she was a Sr. Account Manager in the Corporate Communications division at EBSCO Industries. There she was responsible for the planning and execution of a variety of marketing initiatives for more than 15 divisions and subsidiaries of EBSCO Industries. Prior to that, Marcie worked for Intermark Group, a full-service marketing agency.  She served as an Account Supervisor with the Interactive Department for six years, where she worked with national clients, including Toyota Motor Sales, USA Headquarters, and 21 Toyota Dealer Associations across the US.

 

     

Scot Davis
CEO, Arkansas Urology

Scot joined Arkansas Urology as CEO in 2013. With over 20 years in physician practice management serving in a variety of executive roles, Scot has developed an expertise in physician recruitment, joint-venture arrangements, compensation modeling, and operational efficiency. Before moving to Little Rock, Scot was CFO at Baptist Medical Group in Memphis. Prior to that, he was CFO at Northeast Arkansas Clinic in Jonesboro, also serving in an interim COO capacity. Scot also serves on the Board of Directors for LUGPA.

 

     

Chris Shenep
Marketing Director, Arkansas Urology

Chris joined Arkansas Urology as Director of the AU Foundation and Marketing in 2019. With nearly a decade of experience in fundraising and development, Chris brings an extensive background in marketing and foundation initiatives. Before joining AU, he was the Director of Marketing and Business Development at AEDD, working to increase the funds raised and community awareness for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

 

     

Ron Chorzewski, PT, MBA
Solutions Consultant, rater8

With 30 years in the healthcare field, Ron Chorzewski has served as the lead administrator and CEO for several large medical practices. Starting his career as a physical therapist, Ron has worked in both rehabilitation and orthopedic management. Ron is a Past President and former Board Member of American Association of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) and currently, Ron is a Solutions Consultant with rater8.
