2026 Urology Resident Summit and Job Fair Recap

Highlights from the 2026 Urology Resident Summit & Job Fair

The 2026 Urology Resident Summit and Job Fair in Philadelphia was a resounding success, offering a dynamic and enriching experience for the next generation of urologists. Held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, the event provided attendees with deep insights and practical knowledge essential for the transition from residency to full-time practice.

The agenda featured expanded panels where residents explored diverse perspectives on practice types and navigated the complexities of physician contracts. A key highlight was the "Private Equity 101" session, which provided a timely look at the evolving financial landscape of the field. Additionally, the high-energy "LUGPA Practices Showcase" gave residents a unique opportunity to hear directly from recruiters and identify potential career paths in independent urology.

Beyond the educational sessions, the summit emphasized meaningful networking. Dedicated time in the exhibit hall allowed residents to engage with industry leaders and peers, fostering valuable professional connections. The event concluded with a social gathering at Liberty Lanes, where attendees enjoyed an evening of bowling and camaraderie in a relaxed environment.
