Spotlight a Rising Star: Nominate a Trailblazer

LUGPA’s Trailblazer Award recognizes the physicians and administrators transforming urology within their first decade of practice. We are seeking forward-thinking leaders who redefine patient care and organizational excellence through bold innovation. If you know a peer who is actively shaping the future of our specialty, we want to hear from you.

Eligibility

• Affiliation: Must be part of a LUGPA group.
• Experience: Physician or administrator in practice for 2–10 years.
• Note: APPs and other staff are not eligible at this time.

How to Nominate

1. Cover Letter: Tell us why your group supports the candidate.
2. CV: Provide the candidate’s current curriculum vitae.
3. Submit: Email all materials to [email protected].
4. Self-nominations are not permitted.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  June 30, 2026   

AWARD NOTIFICATION: Award recipient(s) will be notified by late September.

AWARD RECOGNITION: The recipient(s) will be recognized at the LUGPA Annual Meeting in early November.

The LUGPA Board of Directors will select winners based on the Awards Committee’s recommendations.
