LUGPA’s Ambulatory Surgery Center Academy will be held April 9 - 11, 2026 in Rosemont, IL.

The event will highlight important clinical and administrative considerations involved with developing and sustaining a safe, efficient and high-quality ambulatory surgery center (ASC). Sessions will cover topics on staffing, regulatory compliance and the pearls and pitfalls of various procedures performed in an ASC.

This year, Scott Becker is confirmed to do keynote and serve on the panel. Participants will receive his book. Stephen Abresch, Director of Government Affairs from the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association will also speak this year. 

Last year's program contained two separate learning tracks to benefit attendees who may be considering developing an ASC, as well as those that currently have an ASC.
